Tour di 11 giorni/10 notti d’interesse culturale che, partendo dalla moderna capitale Kuala Lumpur, va alla scoperta del patrimonio etnico e religioso della Malesia peninsulare, dalla coloniale Penang ai paesaggi incantevoli delle piantagioni di thè fino a giungere alla natura incontaminata e inesplorata della giungla madre della Malesia risalente ad oltre 130 milioni d’anni fa. Estensione mare a Pulau Perhentian.

Arrivo all’aeroporto di Kuala Lumpur e trasferimento in hotel. Nel primo pomeriggio si parte dall’hotel per il tour di Kuala Lumpur, moderna capitale Asiatica. Il giro farà conoscere i luoghi di maggiore interesse della città quali il Palazzo Reale ovvero la residenza del Re della Malesia alla quale si può sostare per scattare delle foto e ammirarne la bellezza (ingresso non permesso), il Monumento e la Moschea Nazionale, la Stazione Ferroviaria in stile moresco e la Piazza dell’Indipendenza. Il tour termina con una sosta per le foto alle più alte torri gemelle del mondo, le Petronas Towers. Rientro in hotel e pernottamento.
Colazione in albergo. Dopo colazione partenza per la storica città di Malacca che si trova a circa 2 ore di strada a sud di Kuala Lumpur. Malacca è ricca di templi, mercati e moschee e il suo centro storico ha conservato i suoi vecchi edifici i quali hanno ottenuto un riconoscimento storico da parte dell’Unesco nel 2008. L’escursione porterà a visitare la Piazza Rossa Olandese Stadhuys e il museo “Baba-Nyonya” (Cinesi dello Stretto di Malacca conosciuti anche come Peranakan). Si salirà sulla collina di San Paolo dove giacciono le rovine dell’omonima Chiesa proseguendo verso la Porta di Santiago, ultimo bastione rimasto dell’antica fortezza Portoghese di “A Famosa” distrutta dagli Inglesi. Pranzo in un ristorante locale e passeggiata in Harmony street, proseguendo con la visita al piú antico Tempio Cinese “Cheng Hoon Teng”, alla Moschea di Kampung Kling e per finire si prosegue lungo la strada degli Antiquari (Jonker Street). Proseguimento per l’aeroporto e partenza in volo per Penang. Trasferimento in hotel. Cena libera. Pernottamento.
Colazione in albergo. Mattina a disposizione. Nel primo pomeriggio partenza dall’hotel e visita al Tempio Thai del Buddha disteso e al tempio Birmano. Sosta alla spianata per vedere Fort Cornwallis, il forte costruito da Sir Francis Light, fondatore di questo insediamento Britannico. Sarà possibile ammirare l’architettura coloniale degli
edifici circostanti. Si procede per vedere Khoo Kongsi, una bellissima casa di Clan Cinese. Tempo libero per esplorare Georgetown (sito Unesco). Passeggiando attraverso gallerie d’arte, antiche botteghe, templi di ogni culto e genere, fino a perdersi tra le speziate vie di Little India. Pernottamento.
Colazione in albergo. Partenza per Bukit Merah dove con la barca si attraversa brevemente il lago per arrivare all’isola del Centro degli “Orangutan”. Dopo la sosta per il pranzo libero, il viaggio riprende verso Cameron Highland con arrivo nel pomeriggio. Visita al mercato locale e proseguimento presso l’hotel. Check-in, cena libera e Pernottamento.
Prima colazione in albergo. Visita di una piantagione di tè e a suoi processi di lavorazione. Proseguimento via terra verso Kuala Tahan (3,5hrs) da dove, tramite un breve tratto in barca si raggiunge il Parco Nazionale di Taman Negara. Questo grande parco si estende per circa 4334 km ed ospita in una giungla rigogliosa una grande varietà di specie animali quali serpenti, lucertole, scimmie, lontre ed uccelli. Sistemazione presso il Mutiara Taman Negara Resort. 20:45 Passeggiata notturna alla scoperta della natura circostante. Pernottamento.
Colazione in lodge. Dopo la prima colazione partenza per un’eccitante escursione a piedi all’interno del parco. Si raggiungerà la collina di Teresek da dove si può godere di una spettacolare vista su questa splendida ed intatta foresta pluviale. 15:00 Per il pomeriggio è prevista un’escursione in barca per visitare e ammirare le rapide del fiume Kuala Terenggan e il villaggio degli Orang Asli. (soggetta a disponibilità a causa del loro vivere da nomadi.) Rientro in hotel. Cena libera e pernottamento.
Colazione in lodge. Partenza via terra per Kuala Besut con un paio di stop lungo il tragitto. Cambio veicolo a Gua
Musang e proseguimento per Kuala Besut. All’arrivo imbarco e trasferimento presso il resort. Check-in e resto della serata libera. Pasti liberi. Pernottamento.
Giornate libere a disposizione per mare e relax in trattamento di pernottamento e prima colazione.
Prima colazione. Tempo a disposizione fino al trasferimento in barca e minivan all’aeroporto di Kota Bharu per il volo di rientro a Kuala Lumpur. Fine dei servizi.
